One of the biggest problems for the beginner Excel user today is that most courses focus on Excel 2007 and 2010. This makes it rather frustrating for someone still working on 2003 or having to work on both 2003 and 2007 versions. The Excel 2007 interface differs radically from the 2003 interface. As such even seasoned 2007 users struggle with the more compact interface of 2003.

Apart from the Excel 2003 training courses we also provide the 2007 series ensuring that you can master both versions of the spreadsheet application. The 2003 series for instance, addresses the basics of Excel 2003. The most basic course is three hours in duration and focuses on cells, toolbars, formula bar, worksheet window, task panes, moving around in the worksheet, and using menu items.

If you need help with data formatting, you will enjoy the three hour course focussing on auto formatting of cells, moving of toolbars, using the formatting cells assistant, working with special numbers and dates, resizing the rows and columns and using the format painter.

The five hour course on editing and printing of worksheets is excellent for the beginner who wants to learn how to open workbooks, use the redo and undo buttons, copy and paste formulas in cells, insert rows, columns and cells, set headers and footers, set sheet options and control page breaks.
