If you are new to Excel you are welcome to try out our free Excel tutorial course for beginners. It will help you master the basics of the spreadsheet program through interactive video tutorials and printable scripts.
In addition to the free beginner Excel tutorial, we also offer you the chance to download specific tutorials allowing you to master the skills that you want in your own time and the comfort of your office or home.
Each one of the Excel tutorials focuses on a specific skills area and ranges in duration of one to three hours. The Excel 2007 Managing Worksheets course is two hours and addresses skills such as the setting of panes, naming ranges and cells, locating data in the worksheet, working with multiple worksheets, inserting hyperlinks, protecting workbooks, sharing them, and commenting in cells.
If you want to learn more about the application charts and objects you will appreciate the two hour Excel tutorial teaching you how to create charts, move them from one spreadsheet to another, formatting the charts, working with shapes and text boxes, applying smart art, and inserting pictures or clip art.
If you want to learn how to create and work with worksheets you will appreciate the three hour course focussing on the entering of data as text, entering cell values and formulas, correcting errors and using AutoFill, AutoComplete and Formula AutoComplete. In addition you will learn how to use the SUM and AutoSum functions and how to edit cells in the worksheet.
The two hour Getting Started course will give you the basics such as working with the Ribbon, finding your place in the worksheet, using the formula bar and the status bar, navigating around the worksheet and adding, deleting and renaming the worksheets.
