Clean Function
The clean function in Excel allows you to clean
up cells in Excel which have characters that aren’t recognized.
This typically happens when you import data from another system.
You’ll see here, the word Excel here occasionally has got a
character that Excel doesn’t recognize. This can cause problems
with your other formulae – so to use the clean function,activate
the function wizard, look for the function called clean – here
you’ll see it says
remove all non printable characters from text – all you have to do
is point to where it is, click ok and now when we copy it down
you’ll see all the non printable characters have been removed. |
