If you are required to figure out in a list of numbers, which are even or which are odd, instead of trying to come up with a complex formula to do it have a look at what is available in the Function Wizard. So if we click the Function Wizard, now go to a category called information & you look down, you see there actually is a function called ISEVEN. If you go lower, there's a function called ISODD. So let's use the ISEVEN function, say ok. I can point out & say this is my reference number, & you'll see it tells me in this case, ISEVEN false. When I say ok, I get false & I can now copy this down & I'm told which of these numbers are even & which of these numbers are false. You can then work on this formula to perform some sort of calculation based on whether these numbers are even or odd.
