CompTIA A+ is an internationally recognized certification. The exams are standardized ensuring that students who pass will have international recognition for their qualification and will be able to work as A+ technician whether as IT, remote support or depot technicians.

Exams are written at any Pearson or Thompson registered centre and have allocated time slots of 90 minutes per exam paper. The total marks to be obtained are 900 with the minimum pass requirements being above 674 for Essentials and 700 for each of the other exam papers. There are 100 questions for the Essentials exam and 90 questions each for the other exams.

Typical questions for the A+ exams are multiple choices with only one answer being correct and multiple choice questions where more than one answer can be correct. There are also fill in the blank questions where you will have to complete the sentence with the correct text selected from a range of options.
