Spreadsheet errors in the bids by ISIS meant that their
proposal, that appeared the cheapest, became more expensive
once the spreadsheet errors were corrected. This is a typical
example of undercharging due to spreadsheet errors in a tender
process. This is extremely likely in a tender process as any
errors made in the companies favor will result in the company
losing the tender. If the errors are the other way, it is likely
the tender will be won, and the losses will materialize |
