Closing all the open excel files in one go

In previous versions of Excel, you could click the Excel close icon (x on the top right) and all the open spreadsheets would close (asking  if you want to save along the way). The new versions requires that you click on the close button continuously.

You can achieve the same by placing a ‘Close All’ icon onto the Quick Access toolbar. Alternatively you can click File (top left in Excel 2010) and click ‘Exit’  .
