Using Excel’s TIME functions

do you have a tutorial for entering timesheets
eg, i want 7:00 -12:00 =5hrs
is there a formula that will take my in and out times and figure out the total hours

Then at the end of each week if the total hours is over 44 i want it to default the rest into overtime

There are a number of TIME functions in Excel. If you watch the function wizard video clip on you can access all of Excel’s time functions which are easy to understand.

Once you have that sorted you can use a IF function to work out if you are over 44 hours and then allocate the additional hours to overtime. You can also watch how to use the IF function on
