Using NetWorkDays in a Pivot

It is possible to make use of Excel’s functions within a pivot. Generally speaking though you would need to use the Calculated Field options (you can find out more about Calculated Fields in our eBook).

In this case it would be as simple as pointing to the fields with the start and end dates. Because you can’t use the function wizard within the calculated field dialogue box, you will need to remember the syntax of any function you want to use.
